I paid $40 bucks to have my cat installed and i believe I paid $125 for my muffler and tips and installation.

if you have access to a welder and a cutting torch you can do it yourself.

you don't even really need a cutting torch..... I've done it with a Sawzall

I think those numbers are a lil high for our motors. Sometimes you dont gain any horsepower when you put a high flow cat on. If you just change out the muffler & cat you might see 10hp. But then again the only way we will really know is if you get the car dynoed.

Before full exhaust replacement on GPGT:-15.457@88.17mph

After:
zzp ported manifolds=$250.00 bucks
2.5 custom downpipe/-w-
Carsound "Magnaflow" hi-flo cat=$70.00+$45.00 for instalation(included downpipe)
2.5 cat back=$100.00
original u-bend and resonator delete=$60.00
Sumitt turbo muffler=$15.00
total=$540-(minus the 60 that the bonne won't need for u-bend delete)

new time in the quarter= 15.088@90.20mph

mind you this is on aa N/A engine. Hope this helps with your question.

Funky makes a good point. Good exhaust work will net more HP on a SC car than a NA.

I really like this site i dont really know anyone who has a bonny besides me and i read all your posts and stuff and im learning myself i was going to add a topic just like this about the muffler and the high flo cat and now i didnt have too thanx
