Performance, Brainstorming & Tuning Talk about modifications, or anything else associated with performance enhancements. Have a new idea for performance/reliability? Post it here. No idea is stupid! (please use Detailing and Appearance for cosmetic ideas)

What do you think of this combo?

The flex would have to flex ~2" at the throttle body. The airbox is as high as it can go, as you can probably already see it is hitting the brace, so the flex has to be all in the hose. As long as it would flex that much it would probably work very well.

****, I wish I lived closer. Who'* the closest ADTR intake owner to you? It might be worth PM'ing Hector and finding out where he got these. I think it'll work for you. Hopefully would be cheap enough to try.

I need a silicon tube badly. I thought that maybe some of the farm supply stores would carry something like that but I havent been able to find anything. If anyone can get some info on where to get one without having to buy an entire kit, let me know!

When I made my own setup I noticed a big difference. I'm sure if that accordian tube is removed that will help a bit more.

I might be closest to him with the ADTR, but even with the silicon reducer he'll still need a custom pipe to connect that to the filter. Unless you;re talking about a long silicon reducer. Gimme a minute. I have a link.

Came across that sight a few days ago. Hope it helps you Shawn, and any others in the market for an intake.

That is an awesome site, just what I've been looking for Pete! These two looked like the best places to get them in this hemisphere.

Damn. There seems to be no end to the aftermarket goodies that can be had for "Ricers and Imports". No wonder most young guys are opting for them over good ol Detroit iron. :(
