Hey JRIPPE, welcome to the site!

First off, we can better help you if you post up what year and trim model your bonneville is. Please put this in your signature so it stays with all of your posts.

Secondly, there is more involved to adding a supercharger to your car than just bolting one on. There are mixed reviews on this process because the n/a 3800 has different compression ratios and internals than the supercharged model.

Please abuse the "search" button and you will find plenty of information

Lastly, welcome to the fourms - the people around here are extremely helpful and willing to share what they know!

To add a supercharger to a NA car you will need to change heads, LIM, add supercharger, belt tensioner, harmonic balancer, and a tune.

If you go to the tech info area an dclick on performance, there'* a write up there about installing a supercharger on a NA engine.

Also, there'* a wrecked 99 SSEi that has a whole engine, trans, and PCM and such. You just have to buy the whole car for $1000, and that'* good since it'* decent powertrain transportation. You just need to tow it from around 465 & * US 31 to wherever you're located.
