Default Well not I problem more of a question

Well I was wonder if my car has a modfiy chip in or at least is the governer'* removed.
First I have before gotten car up to 110 before, but since the govnerner is set at 108 my speedometer coild have just been off(this was also down hill). The well I was at the college tech shop to pick up a friend we deicded to do some testing. First we notice that I could rev the car in park or netural past 4000 rpm limit that these cars have Ia ctual got to 4500 or so. The we tested the speed govenrer on the car. We did this by putting the car on the lift taken the wheel of the ground. The we put the car in drive and got up to 112. Now I am wonder does that actual prove their is no speed governer. Because this test their is no friction. Obviously take this car to tht kind of speed is on the road is dangerous in so many ways for my safety and the car safety. However that was fun

Couple things here, Speedo'* get off, and the higher the speed, the more they will be off by.

Secondly govoners are different, mostly because of the speedo'*. TIre pressure can effect this to a degree even. 107-110 is for SE'* 125-130 is SSEi. Unless u've had it removed specifically, it'* there no ifs ands or butts.

The only way to remove the limiters is to custom chip, but that'* not the reason we chip, only a side-effect.

Nobody makes an 'off the shelf' chip for a 92 or a 95, but they do for a 93. www.jetchip.com will custom burn a 92 chip if you give them the PCM numbers, but frankly, an otherwise stock SE will be horsepower limited to probably no more than 125 or so. You're WAY out of your power band at the upper rpm'*.

It hasn't been modified. Nobody offers an off-the-shelf solution for a 92. If you hit a limiter, you have a stock PCM. You did hit the limiter. It varies from 110-115.

When I got the car did have it own sercutiy system(didn't work any more relay blowen and brain) then it also had sound system including amps(aslo blowen amps and deck). The car before I owned had nourmous owners actual 6 before me. I have driven other 92 bonnievilles this is diffenetly the fastest after lot of general maintanice. I kind of think it is modifed. The car diffenetly has no problem getting 90 mph.

Do the '87'* have a speed limiter? I know it doesn't have a rev limiter so does that mean there'* no speed one either? Of course my speedo only goes to 80 so i don't know how fast i'm actually going.

You obviously have a speed limiter, by your own first post. If the car has a stock airbox and stock exhaust, it isn't likely to be modified at all.
