Performance, Brainstorming & Tuning Talk about modifications, or anything else associated with performance enhancements. Have a new idea for performance/reliability? Post it here. No idea is stupid! (please use Detailing and Appearance for cosmetic ideas)

Well, my latest idea seems to have leaked out.....

Detailed dimensions will be available soon.

I honestly have been pondering this for almost 3 years now, but the damage to my clearcoat this summer gave me the opportunity.

No ducting. At least not yet, but it is possible. You'll see what I mean soon. Primarily heat reduction under the hood for starters.

have you considered the excessive heat in that area and planned on redoing the hoodliner appropriately?

(looks over at garage wall w/spare hoodliner)

I'm planning on re-covering my hoodliner as the vent openings will come through some of my graphics. Yes, the hoodliner will be cut out as well where necessary.

I've already re-covered this one once, and it'* only about a one-hour process (7 beers).

Do either the larger or smaller vents need to be reshaped or do they "line up" pretty good to the contours of the bonne hood?

I think the leak was you Bill... in Hanks intro you mentioned morphing GTA parts into your car. I knew exactly from that what you were doing. Cause Geoff was doing the same.
