ZZP claims 10 hp at 3000 rpm, and I'll get a 140 or 160 amp alt if I do.

Seriously. I think comparing the two pumps side by side would be invaluable. And give Zoomer feedback on the Series 1 if you find anything out. I've done that before

I'm pretty sure it would work. The S1 and S2 pumps appear to be the same.
