Default Vortec Ign Coils

came across this one

Next the 2000 Chevy Vortec 5300 coils had to be installed. Luckily, the used coils came with the stock brackets, which could be heavily modified to fit on the 3800.

something different although i think the stock coils would be adequate

Stock is adequate, for those that always look for interesting ideas etc.. this is neat.

Can you please link the site, we need more information as to how this person dealt with the ignition control system.

i'm betting that black box/cover over the ICM hides wiring that connects each set of "paired" coils in a parallel circuit. the ICM should easily handle the increased primary current...

i guess a good question would be what the impedance of the primary side of the LSx coilds vs the OE wasted spark units...

definatly some creative work...

Just incase anyone wants to know. The guy used a part called eDist by FAST. I saw that on aaca.org.
There wasn't any other info besides that.
