vette parts on bonn....
ok i have had a 2000 sle bonn as my dd for 9 years. i have added 20'*, stereo ect but i build vettes, f-bods ect for a living. lets just say ii have a EXCESSIVE corvette as a toy but i decided i gonna do a top end swap int to the bonn and then get a block and slowly build a full on sleeper. ok so the reason for the post is that i have found ls1 tb adapter and "gm maf" kits. i have both laying around and i like the idea of corvette parts being used but my ? is what mods need to be done to make this work and is it worth it on basic top end swap with small upgrades. i could fig this all out but i have not got any of the pieces yet so i fig i see what you guys are doing. couple pics just for kicks lol

Then you should have no problems. As long as you can plug it in, you might need a custom plug adapter. A lot of members use a 85mm LQ4 MAF with a northstar throttle body. Some use the LS1
I think this was resolved on b-pro for the most part, but I don't want to leave readers here hanging. The standalone MAF by GM can work even on a stock Bonneville, but you need to re-tune the car so that the MAF readings make sense. Once you get an external MAF sensor, you can go to any throttle body you'd like, any bore, any anything as long as the position sensor and idle air control can plug in. With the LS1 TB, there'* an adapter & wire kit so everything works.
Also, oldsman105 has an LS1 throttle body, but it'* on his 2001 SSEi on b-pro. I'm not sure if the pics are on this forum.
