Default upgrading exhaust

I tried searching in the other threads, but got a lot of hearsay and what not. Looking to just give my bonnie some more growl from the engine. When you recommend, please specify how it is installed etc etc. ie removed muffler and replaced with a flowmaster. I'm looking for different ideas please. . also, performance is not a determining factor here.

Warning: Exhaust videos do NOT accurately represent the actual sound you'll hear with your own ears. Your best bet is to get to one of our meets and listen to various cars with various setups.

Way to shamelessly plug the upcoming meets Bill...where is this member located. I'd like to help point them to the closest meet.

Sounds like another winner for the NE crowd. Be advised you need an L36 for comparison. Each car sounds different.

Mine changed exhaust note AGAIN when I dropped back down to a 2.2" supercharger pulley.

Karl did some exhaust work and he'* a 95 SE as well.

If you are thinking about waiting, a big meet is coming up in the beginning of April.. In Enfield CT.. tons of cars and exhaust to listen to.

Right. I knew that. That'* why I was pointing out the subtle changes between cars that can make a big difference in how the exhaust sounds.

This is why you need another L36 or two to compare to. Not an L67 or L27.
