Does anyone know of any perf. upgrades for my sons 96 GP SE with a 3100? Has 186k on the clock and going strong but looking down the road to wake it up a bit. Thanks

I've heard about putting a 3400 top end on a 3100, but honestly have no experience beyond replacing the LIM gaskets 3 times.

The 3100 has quite a few upgrades available. You should check out these two sites:

You can get a cam, a throttle body without a tune since the MAF sensor is external, new air intake ducting for smoother and cooler air, a filter, exhaust including headers, the top parts from a 3400 as Bill mentioned, and some gaskets with larger opening between the intake manifolds and port matching to go along with them would be great for it!
