Default underdrive pulleys

do those things come highly recommended from you guys? would i be able to notice a difference if i got em? cause those would fall under my "remove this, put this there instead" way of modding and theyre not that expensive.maybe one every time i get paid.

if your talking about zzp then there is only one % (for the waterpump pulley) its about 5" diameter stock and thiers is 5.5"(too big) there is about a quarter inch till it hits the engine mount. now the alternator pulleys should fit no problem.

I would not recommend underdrive pullies just because they don't make a noticable difference, and there are other mods that I think you will like better for the time. We have an underdrive alternator pulley on the GTP and didn't notice a difference at all, and we have a lightweight water pump pulley (less rotating mass), and track times didn't get any faster, so I would say spend the money on other mods, but it is up to you, its your car.

The underdrive/overdrive pulleys work best when combined with different mods,(rockers,cams,etc.). As a stand alone mod they are worthless, but they can knock about .067 off your quarter mile times. For me this would be enougth for a drop of a tenth off my quarter mile time in my GP. So depending on were your car is performance wise, you may or may not notice a gain. On a SC car you may not be able to detect much in the way of gains. My understanding was that it was mainly an N/A mod.

I think I've got to eat my words to a dgree here. After adding the under drive pulleys. I noticed that I gained .127 on my quarter mile times with my GP GT/SE. This droped my time from 15.562@88.06 with a 2.25 60' to 15.435@88.24 with a 2.318(yes it'* a crappy 60' but no one was hooking up well in the 80 degree + heat). And it was that way all dat long. Slowest run was 15.605@87.92 with a 2.384 60'. As it is they do help but I still feel you have to have other mods to get the most out of the car.
