Bonnies don't have a u-bend to delete.

u bends are only found on the W-bodies to my knowledge, so you're good to go.

I'll do it for $15 today and you'll never need to drop off the car.

Obviously we're pulling your leg, beckster. When you look at the Bonneville'* exhaust, there is a U-shaped bend that enters the muffler, so you're not completely crazy for thinking it'* the same U-bend as in a W body.

However, the U-bend that GP owners speak of is a different thing, which bends tighter and is more restrictive than any bend in our exhaust. For all intensive purposes, your exhuast flows plenty of velocity for you at this point. If you want to redo your exhuast you're more than welcome, but it might not do anything for you.

Yea... that figures I would have been much better off asking a more specific question regarding to the bend before the muffler

That bend is mandrel, and not a restriction.

You'd know if you had the u-bend. I've seen pics and its nasty. Kinda like if someone took a vice and squashed a 4 inch section of you're exhaust.
