Right. Your other option is a 282, which can be rebuilt, is more common, but is a bit weaker.

I've heard the F40'* can handle 300lb-ft easily.

$3450 for just the swap kit alone, not including the transmissoin itself?

For that money, I'd rather get a ZZP built transmission that will take enough power to put me in the 11'* reliably for 100k miles.

Yeah, wasn't implying it'* a good cost option.

I'd rather go 4t80 if I was after big power.
