Welcome to the Club!

It sounds like you are looking for a scanner to read different parameters from your motor and trans if I'm correct?

Sounds like you’re on the right path; I'm not very knowledgeable on OBD1 scanners so I'm sure others will chime in for you.

1. Find an Actron CP9110 with the GM cartridge on ebay. Buy it UNDER 100 bucks or wait. You need the 12-pin ALDL connector.

2. Don't expect to read boost from it. Go by your gauge.

3. Please edit your profile and add your year and trim level to your signature.
