Default Trans. Mods

A li'll bit of background info may help on this one.

'99 SSE with no major engine mods (rice pipe and K&N filter)

I want to put a Turbo on but don't want to kill the already overpowered transmssion. SO, any advice on trans. mods to make it more able to hadle the increased HP would be fantastic!

Thanks again guys!

The most basic transmission mod - besides making sure the fluid is nice and fresh - would probably be a shift kit. You can go extreme and get a full rebuild with performance parts too if you're willing to shell out a few grand

It depends on what your goals are. Our Stage 1 rebuilds work quite well in GPs running 13.0s. ~13.4 in a Bonne. Conservitavely (sp?)

And you can go up from there.

IS
OS
Sprag
boost sleve
4th hub
pump shaft
shift kit

ect.

The BEST place to check out the selection for hard parts is on Intense-racing.com .
