tranny flush!
Tranny flushes are beneficial for most ,but i heard of a few horror stories from my buddie who'* parent own a penzoil quik lube,There'* been a few cases where trannies just go to ***** after a flush,not sure why this is,but it kinda makes me think twice about getting one now!

I think the horror stories are due to inexperienced "flushers" who leave solvent in the tranny. That'* what I remember reading here anyway...

there is no solvaent that goes into the trans, you disconnect a trans line and a manifold setup connects itto the line and then into the cooler too. the trans. pump pushes the old fluid out and the machine pushes the new in,, you do it while its running, and when the fluid runs clear coming out, youre done. most i have seen that went bad after was already having problems before. this is a preventive maint. service, not a fix all service. B&M recommends using their fluid exclusively in your trans. for best results. thats why i did it with the flush system we have, it changes 99% of the fluid thats in the trans, if you just drop the pan and and change the filter, you change about 5-5.5 qts, no where near enough to make a difference. it took 19 qts to get mine running clear blue out of the waste side of the machine.
