Switched back to the oem runners
original fuel rail and injectors
also did the a/c delete (clutches were gone and it was ringing, thought maybe it had something to do with it)
Most of the part throttle kr is gone. I am still seeing 15 degrees from 5000ish up though
I am going to research the case learn

Just got off the phone with him. The power up to 5k is VERY happy. This may be a simple case of time to learn for the PCM for the higher RPM fueling at WOT.
He'* going to give it time on the 93 octane in the tank before boosting the octane further. In the meantime, he'* going to do a top-end seafoam to eliminate any carbon deposits acting as glow plugs.
I gave him a good octane mix formula for Toluene+93 octane that will bump him to 96 octane if he needs it later.
(Giving the update here because I firmly believe that 'offline' troubleshooting help is very important to the topic and forum, which is why I generally discourage it in the first place)

That is pretty much it in a nutshell. I am going to run the seafoam probably tomorrow and let that clean it out and rule out that possibilty. I am going to upplug the battery after that and let the pcm reset. Then i am going to drive it without going wot and let it lock in trims and reset everything this week. I will have an update at the end of the week with the results of the 93 octane and everything.

I want to try this first and go from there. I believe myslef being a OBD 1 1/2 i may not benefit from a case learn like you OBD2 guys. So i will go from here and if it doesnt take care of it, i may do a case learn

If possible, then it would be good to optimize the available performance.
Needed.. well.. we agree there with my mechanic buddy. His viewpoint is if the car runs..then you don't "need" it. When looking for every bit of horsepower though.."want" comes into play.
I doubt any KR issues are coming from a case learn whether it is possible on that year or not.
