Default Throwin in a supercharger

My bros 93 ssei is supercharged and is parked/willing to be used for parts cause its junk.. but most things are good.. like the supercharger. how difficult would it be to throw that into my 1993 SE? price wise and amount of work. am i going to have to remove the whole engine to do something like that?

If you get the LIM, SC, TB with MAF, fuel rail with injectors, accessory drive, harmonic balancer, an adjustable fuel pressure regulator or air-fuel calibrator... it would be functional. But you wouldn't have the ability for the PCM to dump boost if there are KR problems (which there would likely be). Then you could swap in the PCM, then you'd have to splice into the wiring harness for the boost control solenoid to get the boost dump. Then your speedo will be off because the final drive ratio will be different than the PCM is expecting.

Or you could swap the whole engine, tranny, wiring harness, and PCM.

Do the ENTIRE DRIVETRAIN. Engine, wiring harness, trans, the whole nine yards. The last 'hybrid' swap attempted here isn't going well at all, never was, and probably never will be.

The bottom end of that SE'* engine is NOT designed to deal with the stress, and the trans certainly isn't. This is not plug/play by any stretch of the imagination. You will spend at LEAST hundreds getting this to work.

Not an 'I told you so', but he did it. It'* just one of those things that'* going to give problems down the road. Probably right around the corner.

Look at F14'* signature.

From my 20k miles of experience with this hybrid drivetrain, I don't think the motor'* suffered. No increase in oil consumption, no noise, and checks out to be within its range (oil tested by Blackstone Labs).

Your transaxle, however, is not going to like it. Mine'* been parked since last week cuz it blew. It will blow, just can't say when. It died with a total of 172k miles on it and was original. I've towed and stuff with it too, so it was probably on its way out, but without question the */c had a factor in that.

And if you ask Willwren I've got a tiny bit of KR I need to work on.

And, it'* pretty intensive to swap everything. Not just the */c, but the harmonic balancer, tensioner assembly, relocate alternator and PS pump/resevoir, fuel pump, do your own fuel lines, PCV...its a mess.
