Throttle Posistion sensor adjustment
Setting the TPS to specs is very common on Turbo Buicks. It helps stop off idle bog and enhance WOT fueling. I believe this is not a "mod" as much as a "tune" to factory specs. There should be no downsides to adjusting the TPS to the correct volts. Apparently GM thought the TPS shouldn't be adjustable on the 3800s, the TBs have a nice slot like the older version shown so they can move to be adjusted.
Pronto, we're not talking about setting the TPS to factory specs. We're talking about optimizing it for performance off the line. But it comes at a cost in shift issues with OD lockup.
