The instructions are more biased towards the series II, which means it of course vairies for me.. and I have yet to find an idle screw... Anybody have some documentation and pictures for a series I?

Its not that hard to do just follow the link at the top of this post, the instructions are pretty clear and only takes about 20 mins.

i am gonna check this on our two bonnies and see what they are reading, since the 2000 has alot better throttle response.
EDIT: I think I have the worst so far on my 97:
idle: 1.1
WOT: 3.25
hmmm...maybe I should try this. what do you guys think?

This modification is giong to affect Fuel economy. Basically the only thing this is diong is advising the PCM that the throttle is being demanded more than it actually is. Thus, it will add more fuel but you'll have less air for that fuel. So bascially the air/fuel mixture is going to be higher (more fuel to less air. Seems to me eventually the PCM is giong to learn this and adjust itself to run more lean dumping less fuel and ultimately the same throttle response we all had before this modification.
What this mod will do: Imagine if you will a range between the two values, idle and WOT, with part throttle inbetween. This is the operating range of the sensor. Along this range, you have points at which certain upshifts occur, or downshifts, or power enrichment fueling, and finally a voltage that you hope the PCM recognizes as WOT.
What we are essentially doing with this modification is moving this sensor'* operating range up and down by adjusting it but remember that the points stay the same, only the range moves. By doing this, we can control how soon these points are reached.
