effects of altitude
So as some of u know altitude basically chokes the motor and killer on power so I will give u an example.
I have a 03 gs with gen v, n*,ported lim and 1.8 rr and headers and 2.5 single oulet catback.
Now with this setup at sea level u would prolly see 12+ psi on the 3.3 pulley I am running on it after all the goading from my buddy but I peaked at 9.1 psi on the setup up here at 6k ft elevation. So I think I will be running a 3.2 or 3.0 this summer and see how it likes it. As of now I am fighting blips of part throttle kr but I think it is the shift point table. After I nail that down my ltfts look good for the most part so it should be able to be run a 2.8 and if all goes right a 2.6 by summer'* end when the IC gets slapped on. There is no way this setup would be able to run at sealevel so thus that is the difference between high alt and sealevel.
