I believe we have plenty of low end to spare.

Low end is what gets our heavy arses moving, and is what you use daily more than anything.

I wouldn't sacrifice low end unless it was so extreme it made the car impossible to launch or drive daily.

I gained power with the 3" DP, noticably. No noticable loss in low end power.

Your car is lighter and has different gearing. Your mods may have been different than others as well when you added it.

Don't all Series II L67'* have the same gearing? And I don't think weight has anything to do with gains and losses in torque.

I put that DP on when all I had otherwise was a CAI.

You won't notice a loss of low end torque as much as a heavier car.

Your gearing should be different than a Bonneville IIRC. Check your RPO codes.

It'* 2.93.

And given that the original poster already has a 3.4 pulley, I don't think there will be any noticable loss in low end.

Explain billboost'* loss of low-end with the same mods and a 3" dp?

Can't explain it. Every car is different. I'm just sharing my own experience about this.

I checked on the Gears also, and you're right on the 2.93'* for stock GTP'*. My bad on that one.

I'll write yours off to the lighter car making it less noticable.

Most people don't mess with a 3" dp until they have rockers or a cam, and headers as well. I don't think you're going to gain anything noticable with a 3" dp on PEM'*.
