Default Is there any Series 1 3800 SC engine mods??!!

Hi Im new to the forum and was wondering if my 95 Riv having the Series 1 SC engine could be modified with any different rocker ratio'*, cam, rods...anything for performance addition to that engine. I have done quite possibly everything else outside the engine and the Regal forum recommended me to you guys, since some of you run my engine with the same supercharger. Thank you for any help or links I could go to for parts.

theres a ton of stuff to do....intake and exhaust are first. Youll want a CAI or FWI, and a less restrictive exhuast. Then you can drop pulley sizes down, not sure what you go to on a series 1. After that it all matters on how much cash you have..headers, rockers, cam, pcm....most engines part are universal across the different bodies because the 3800 is the constant. Good luck with any mods you take on...feel free to ask questions the gearheads here know sooo much its rediculous. Blake

PCM might be a problem. Other than that, there are alot of mechancial mods you can do, as already stated.

Intake, exhaust, and pulley are the big 3 to start with. Move into the valvetrain after that.

Yes I know about the CAI, the smaller pulley, the aftermarket exhaust, etc. I just can't find any website anywhere that can sell me hi performance ratio rocker arms or thermal coated headers for my particular Series 1 engine setup. Every website I see deals with the Series 2 engine only. Thanks if any of you can shine some light on this.

Nobody makes headers for the Series 1. They'd have to be custom. www.domesticperformance.com has stated that there is a builder prepared to do this.

Talk to DrJay about rocker arms. My understanding is that there'* a set of Ford rocker arms that will swap in with minor modifications. There may be some talk here in Performance on this already.

Look for DrJay'* posts and also by a member now named "Former Member".
