Default Suspension questions

What all kinds of suspension upgrades are out there for this car?

Springs?
Struts?
Coilovers?

Post here.

Well, you need to post your year and trim and model if it'* different in your signature which can be done over in the Profile link.

Beside that, I'm slightly confused, your SN implies a Grand Prix GTP but this is a Bonneville forum so which one you are referring to?

I have a GTP but am planning on purchasing a 00'-'03 SSEi here very soon and know next to nothing about what types of modifications can be done to H-bodies.

Moving to Performance and Brainstorming. The 2000-2005 section is for posting mechanical problems only.

Well modifications to the 00-05 h-bodies and the real 87-91 & 92-99 h-bodies differ quite a bit. theres not really a huge suspension after market for the 00-05 H body, probably the best thing you could do is to swap in the suspension from a 04-05 GXP. Not sure on the differences and such, but I've driven them in comparison to an SSEi of that gen and the handling rocks.

edit: removed any evidence! back to just H!

wj, although it'* a different generation of H body, it is NOT a G body. Please don't induce confusion here by calling it that. It is very much NOT a G body.

Well, I wanted to do something that is similar to the konis/eibachs that you can put on a w-body. I want to lower it a touch and give it a nice, agressive stance. Then slap some GXP wheels on it.

I'm not aware of any "brand name" aftermarket springs and struts for the 00+ cars. However you can always go custom but it will cost a lot. The 00+ Look decent at the factory ride height IMO.

Do a search on GXP Venom, he put an air suspension in a 00+

I thought about that, but I don't really want pumps and stuff like that getting in the way and taking up space and weight. I was wondering if there were some coilovers or anything. If I have to, I will go the custom route but that is a last resort.
