Well it took about 10 minutes to install and less than that much time to find it wasn't worth it -at least not yet (hopefully they can reprogram it for me).
I took it out for a run and could not hit 100 mph. Acceleration was worse than before except from 4600-5500 in 2nd gear. Then I stopped at the gas station topped the tank off with 93 octane (was already almost full of 92 octane). Then I took out for a mpg test. Drove a 60 mile round trip with the cruise set 60 mph partially into overdrive (i.e full overdrive @ 60 mph is 1900 rpm, and full drive at 60 mph is 2300 rpm, and I was at 2100 rpm). After I got back I topped it off again with 93 octane. I had driven 64.8 miles and I put in 3.045 gallons at the same pump as before (so the car was as level as before for an accurate fill).
That equates out to 21.3 mpg!!!! With the stock chip I can make that run on 2.2 gallons and have alot more power -GRRRRRRRRR!!!!
Anyhow, just thought I'd let you all know
P.*. The Superchip was programmed for computer code BHDU and my computer code is BHDZ -anyone know what the difference is???

Not sure on the code difference, somebody else will have to step up there, but give it time. My Jet Stage 2 took about 100 miles to fully 'learn' everything. That'* when the performance and efficiency really kicked in.

Superchips are just like K&N. Just a big name but everyone thinks to go to them but they don't actually add any more power. They are just so big they can advertise alot and that'* the only name you know. If people just stopped buying from superchips they could die and leave a place for a real chip modifying company to take their place. Superchips made my trans shift firmer/quicker and "maybe" advanced the timing. Besides that the superchip is more like stock AC Delco eprom with a "Superchips" logo on it.

If you're car continues to run bad, change back to the stock chip. You can get a fastchips, which will be custom burned...but they run roughly $300. Little steep I think.
