Default Stroker kit?

How many people think this kit is worth the money. It claims to put 240whp on a Series II L36.

Not for that amount of money for me. For that much money you could probably get a custom supercharger. The price is just for the kit, install will be over a thousand as well.

But that is too much to pay. At least for me.

Then go with all of the ZZP Stage one kit except for the underdrive/waterpump pulley. In its place I'd use a lightend water pump pulley that they sell. If you don't have the cross member that the 98 SE'* have then you can do the UD pulley,(I say this because the room is limited with the cross member). Order a lightend crank ballancer from ZZP or NuLine concepts from the Oklahoma boys. This all will lessen rotatimg mass, and thus free up HP. Open up your exhaust to 2.5 inches. Eliminate the resonator. Go with light wieght turbo muflers from Sumitt. Use a 3 inch downpipe to the after market Hi-Flo CAT,(I use a Carsound Magna Flo). Next use the HVII with a Cold Air Intake,(CAI), and you'd spend about half the money, but get about half the performance.

Or you could wait for the turbo kit that Intense will be out with this spring.

Still got to pay to play.

like bigfunkytown said, you can do alot with that amount of money, I would get all the little stuff before you try something that expensive and complicated. The page made it sound like you need other mods to make it work (cam and new heads at least, probably more). I bet you could get more hp and tq just from "bolt-on" type mods, such as CAI, polished TB, new intake insert, new cat/muffler, bigger downpipe, rockers, p&p heads with heat wrap, etc. THEN when you did this mod it would be much more effective on your engine.

Thats like I want the ZZP stage II Throttle body, but I'm going to wait till I get another 600 dollars together before I can do it. Do each thing a lil at a time, and you'll see your car grow. I watched my GP SE grow from a quarter time of 16.4x to the current time in my sig. She is now the fastest W body N/A SE GP in the country. I have not been to the track with the HVII yet, but the thing pulls like crazy up top! Think it'll take another 2 tenths off my time. The Stage II TB should take off another two tenths. My next project is to do something simular to my Bonnie ....... Oh what a sleeper she is to be!
