I hope I'm not premature with this post but...I think I got it figured out. I've got the vats module (complete with resistor in line), the start enable relay, the computer, half of the under hood fuse box and a push button rigged up. I just tried it and I've got spark. What do ya think? Great success? Lol

spark is not cut in vats, fuel injector pulse is. if you hook up a test light ground to the pos cable check the injector wire. one should be hot all the time and the other is a ground pulse from the pcm

Hmm this is what happens when you stay up all night playing in the shop, I guess I get ahead of myself. Haha. I checked with a test light and didn't get anything then I checked with my multimeter and got 12.3. I then tried putting the test light on with the meter and it immediately dropped to zero volts. Do you suppose that means anything other than I messed up?

Well I had to leave to go do chores at the farm but I came back and checked over everything again with fresh eyes and I think it all checks out, thanks to jwfirebird for that tidbit

not sure on colors or anything but both wires could test 12v but only one will be ground pulse so if you put a test light, ground hooked to +12v and the probe hooked to one or the other injector wire you should get a flash when cranking

Well from what I can tell I have successfully fooled the security system and I do have spark but still no injector power. I would suppose that I either don't have all the necessary wires hooked up or maybe I killed the computer. Any suggestions on my next course of action?
