Is the Eaton m112 the one from a Ford SVT truck? I think I have seen a GTP with one of those installed.

You are limited to about 400 WHP with the Eaton M90.
Even if that were true, that is still 500hp at the flywheel. And I don't believe I ever said it was making that much power. In his first post, 400+ hp was the stage 5, and from the hp numbers listed there I was assuming it was at the flywheel, not the wheels.

But like 13secGTP said, the ZZP XPZ cam has changed that. It is really unleashing some unfound M90 power. Zooomer has already dynoed over 390hp to the wheels, and supposedly still has plenty of room for inprovement.

But, I will also say that our GTP still having the stock cam and all, is making around ~320hp to the wheels, which would translate to ~400 crank hp. SilverBullet was exaggerating just a little bit.

.

ZZP is also using a LS1 TB which is 80mm. Not using the stock one anymore. so the Eaton can intake as much as possible and making more because also has intercooler. So denser air charge, but the limit for a STOCK M90 is 400WHP, it been proven on other cars. They increased the inlet size which allows a little more air that'* why they made 410WHP.

OK let'* try that again.....now come on guys, just don't criticize, build on it.

Hp ratings are net at the flywheel based on factory rating of 240 hp for Series II M90 SC engines.

240 hp --- Stock
240 - 300 hp --- Stage 1 - cold air, pulley
300 - 340 hp --- Stage 2 - Stage 1 + headers, exhaust, rockers, PCM
340 - 400 hp --- Stage 3 - Stage 2 + cam, pulley, intercooler
400 - 500 hp --- Stage 4 - Stage 3 + head porting, TB, pulley
500 - 600 hp---- Stage 5 - Stage 4 + M112/T04E, Nitrous

Don't forget important steps for each stage like 180 t-stat, and colder plugs. Also a tranny cooler. I think all of those would be stage one.

I don't believe anyone ever said anything about having a stock M90. An M90 is an M90. The throttle body you use doesn't matter, and OBVIOUSLY they have to run an Intercooler. Those are other mods. Obviously if you leave the engine stock you aren't going to make over 400whp. You were saying you couldn't make over 400whp without a different blower, well porting the existing blower isn't a new blower, it is modifying the stock one. I don't want to get in a big argument or anything, it is just that you can't say that Zooomer doesn't count because he uses a larger TB, and Intercooler, and ported his blower, that is just part of modding a car. Thats like saying we don't have the fastest stock cammed GTP (without nitrous) because it has 1.9 rockers, its crazy talk. It still has the stock cam, it just has other mods too.

Well obviously for stage one people don't just put on a pulley and CAI. I mean, they might, but how many people on here have just done that. I definately think it should include a colder t-stat, plugs, wires, etc... Maybe you should base it on 3800performances kits. I believe they have like stage 1-6 that they sell. 1 is like a pulley and CAI. Then 2 has all of 1 and then more. Maybe you should check it out, that would be a good thing to go by. And it really can't be based on HP, because all engines are different, even if they are the same engine with the same mods, I think it should just be based on mods. That way you could just say, I have an SSEi with stage X mods.

Just my $.02.

OK, Let'* try again. Isn't continuous improvement fun.

240 hp --- Stock with 3.8" pulley
240 - 300 hp --- Stage 1 - 180 Stat, Trani Cooler, Cooler Plugs, Wires, cold air cone filter, 3.4"pulley
300 - 340 hp --- Stage 2 - Stage 1 + headers, exhaust, rockers, PCM, 3.2"pulley
340 - 400 hp --- Stage 3 - Stage 2 + cam, intercooler, 3.0"pulley
400 - 500 hp --- Stage 4 - Stage 3 + head porting, TB, 2.6"pulley
500 - 600 hp---- Stage 5 - Stage 4 + M112/T04E, Nitrous

Instead of offering suggestions just copy and paste this rough draft and modify it as you think it should be and let'* just see if this evolves into anything.
