WOw thanks for the replies. Lets see here ....
"chip, hood vent, trans cooler, oil cooler, b&M trick shift in the trans, and wrap all the exhaust and intakepiping in your engine bay. "
The hood vent and the B&M trick shift sound interesting. Is the B&M stuff just a valve body mod ? or do I have to go into the deepest darkest regions of the transaxle ?
It'* not like CV twisting head banging shift is it ? I want a snappy shift but Idont want to damage the tran$axle.
" 104s are two step colder, 605'* are 1 step. 104'* may be too cold for your engine. Check them periodicallye "
:
roll: Well ... crap. I already got them in. I installed them based on a past post about plug types after the pulley was installed. If they foul out .. I'll chuck them. I'm going to wait until my hands heal anyway ..
"Explain something to me......you bought a new PCM without the chip? Why? Was the old one bad? "
The old PCM was bad. I had a small leak from the fender well. ( go GM ... No sealer )
What chip do you guys recommend ? What does it do ? Just advance timing and fuel curves ?
I'm going to hopefully have it buttoned up this weekend. I hope all goes well. Remember ... I've driven this car about 1.5 miles so far. I bought it and started taking it apart. I seem to have a bad habit of disassembling perfectly good cars.

I'll modify my sig with the mods after I drive it. They aren't official till I smell rubber

Add another trans cooler, or replace your stock cooler with a larger one in the spring. I suggest a thermostatically controlled unit.
Forget the oil cooler. You already have one that'* fully capable.
Forget the B&M. If you chip, it'll do the same thing.
Chip? Call Jet.
Plugs? I've never run autolites, but they're good. If in doubt, run NGK TR-55'*.

Also, I've searched and searched for a thread on the " BCS " trick. I can't find any info for the early series one L67 engines. What is it ?
