Default Stage 2 Pkg for L36?

I was reading Crazyjoe'* thread about the stage 2 pkg from INTENSE for his car. Rogue replied that it would add about 60 hp. And he also mentioned that it would be like "BAAAAMMM!" (that much faster) I didn't want to hijack his thread, so would the stage 2 pkg for the L36 give me a "BAAAAMM!" feeling or a "bam" feeling?

Just curious because I'm definitely buying it in the summer after I save some money. Oh and would I get almost 200 hp at the wheels?

Thanks you all.

I'm trying to give the L36s a reputation. Do not say failed LIM.

im thinking more "bam". it would be a good gain. but i dont think you can get to 200whp with out a cam.

But I don't want to replace my torque converter tho. I know I don't have to but it seems like an added expense.

If you guys can hold your horses for a few weeks, I'll have dyno numbers and a cost overview of my custom cam regrind. Perhaps that will be an option for the L36 crowd. But you'll have to wait and see!

IMO 1.9'* are too high a ratio for n/a.
If your looking for 200 whp a GT1 cam + PEMs'* + HVTB + HVII + miniAFC will get you there.

If you can achieve 60hp from a performance package, you WILL feel it like BAM.

I know for a fact that INTENSE has dyno'd this package. They wouldn't claim what they do if they didn't. Not all cars will react in the same manner, but you'd certainly come close.

5-10 hp on your engine is about the 'butt-dyno' threshold you can feel. 60 is a big jump.

1.9'* on a L36 won't give you a "BAM!" feeling, the power increase is too high in the RPMs for that. However it does add a bit of refinement to driving, power is continuous to whatever your shift point may be.

So I will definitely be able to feel the 25 hp increase (assuming it does gain 25 hp)

Just not as great as the 60 hp for the SSEi correct?
