A company makes lowering springs for 98-99 Seville STSs...
I think i may be ordering these to see if they fit on my bonnie, they are very similar cars, and very similar suspension set-ups. I did a bit of research, and the overall set-up is almost identical, and they even share the same rear lower control arms, so im thinking there will be a high possibility of compatibility.

What do you guys think?

I would've said no way, but if the LCA are the same (exact p/n?) then you may be onto something..

However, if you're right about this, I would love to grab some springs in the future!

The spring size will also depend on the subframe structure for upper mounting. Regardless of control arm, they may still be different.

Might be a possibility, though.

right, i think the best thing i could do is just go and try to install them, its not a super expensive investment to try, and if they dont fit, i could always ebay em for a small hit

If you can find an STS in a savage yard you could get some measurements.

Keep an eye on the savages though.... they tend to be very protective of their yards. :P


Greyhare actually makes an excellent point. It would probably save you some time and money to see if stock STS springs would fit. Or even better yet, call the parts desk at your local GM dealership. They might tell you what you want to know.

i dont think they would be helpfull, since part numbers will be different for the two cars, even if the springs are identical dimentions, since the caddy has a smoother ride and probably different spring rate

i could go to year one and check out their salvage yard!
