Speed week at Bonneville next year?

Hmmm.
Bill, what'* the point besides nostalgia, when you can and have gone faster on the highway than you are LIMITED to at Bonneville.
130 mph....Bahhhh!!!
.....and you'll get all salty.
The SSCC highway run sounds more interesting but that one costs $600. I'll take my chances on empty highways. Speeding fine would just about be the same.

With the 130 class, I can go to 140. In order to go faster, I need a rollcage, but just yesterday, I had a vendor propose to give me one. We'll see, but otherwise, yes, it'* a nostalgia run. And a little more publicity for us.

I just had new tires put on the car with metal valve stems to qualify for the runs. Because of Bonneville, I did not go wider. I had been looking at 235 or 245 tires. I compromised and will be sticking with the 225'*. It shouldn't be a problem for the 130-140 class.

On your final run are you gonna go balls to the walls? Would be sweet to see mention of a certain green 1993 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi pulling a 160+ mph run at Bonneville 2005.
I'd love to go myself -maybe Jason, Seth, me (and ayone else who wants to join us) can make this years trip to Bonneville like we made the trip to Toronto this last spring.
I'm game if anyone else is.

Forgot to ask -doing anything in terms of stabalizers for the roof?
I suppose it'd take wind tunnel research to see if you need them and at what points to mount them.
Also, how about one of those lower valance panels from PFYC (like Whiskey98 has on his Y2K SSEi) for front-end downforce?
And this will be a GREAT publicity stint for BC if all works out for you.
