Check your firing order, ohm out your plug wires looking for a problem and check your fuel pressure.

I had a similar misfire issue years ago. It turned out that the #5 wire was touching the rear O2 sensor and grounding out. All I had to do is tie the wire back so it didn't touch anything metal.

Just to clarify, did this problem occur only AFTER you installed the new plugs, or has this been ongoing?

It was only after, but I have checked and rechecked the wires and plugs. Plugs are in tight, and the wires are held in place by the clips.

So I took my car in this morning to a buddy of mine that has a Snap-on Scantool. It showed a bad missfire on 4 and 5. So now the question is, what spark plug wires to get. I'd love to order the ones Intense have, but I need to get them today. We have Napa, Autozone, Oreilleys, and Adavanced Auto Parts around here. Open to suggestions

Replace the wire. Anytime plugs are changed and a misfire results afterwards then a wire is usually to blame. They get brittle over time (especially if they were stock) and may have a break or short you would never see.

Got to Napa, get the Beldin Lifetime warranty wires.

1) did you use di-electric grease on both ends of the wires
2) did you notice any rust or corrosion on the coil packs
3) did you check the gap and porcelin base of each plug for correctness or cracks?
4) do you have the wires routed properly (proper firing order)

All fixed, now if this dang snow would get off the streets I'd go have some fun!!! Thanks everyone for the help. In some crazy way the number 5 cylinder sparkplug that I replaced twice were both bad. So a third autolite 605 was installed and corrected the problem right away. I examined the sparkplug and there wasn't any visable indicator of why it wasn't firing correctly. Oh well, cheap fix! Ok, so Stage one is Complete...where do I go from here because I'm sure i'll want more
