ok... I think I might be holding off on this for a bit. I need to do struts and brakes as well, so I might just have everything done at once. That and I need to save some money since I spent $100 more than I was planning to this weekend. Would this help even if I have not so good struts, or would I prematurely damage them by changing them first?

But for when I do do it, someone stated they got a Grade 8 bolt instead of the GM ones. Question is what width and length should be picked up?

Do the links any time. They won't stress your struts. DON'T buy a grade 8 bolt for the rear. Use a GM bolt only. The GM bolt has no threads for most of it'* length. Bolt threads will destroy the inside of the bushings.
