How come you only got 8" wide slicks??? MT slicks stick very well, but you have to make sure you heat them up first, if you don't do a nice burnout, they won't stick.

We have 26X10.5X16 MT ET Streets for the GTP and it pulls low 1.8 & high 1.7 60'* all day long. It also has an LSD, we do a few suspension mods to it at the track, and the slicks are wider than yours. I would guess that with some decent burnouts, a sticky track, and some talented driving you should be able to pull 1.9 and maybe high 1.8 60'*.

I'm thinking about getting some slicks too. What rims did you put these on?
I Figure for my 01 ssei w/ the stock 17'* I need to get some 16'* for the slicks, think GP wheels shold work, right?

PS. I f you don't mind, what did the slicks run you?

For the GTP we just bought some stock 5 spoke GP wheels from another GP owner. They are 16X7 rims, and they work great, and are fairly light since they are just plain 5 spoke wheels.

IIRC the 26X10.5X16 ET Streets for the GTP ran ~$300 for the pair.

i see you have ET streets., im going with ET drags
Yup...the only difference is the ET streets have little tiny slits in them to make them street legal. The difference in grip is un-noticable between the two, so may as well get the street legal ones IMO.
