Shift points and limiters

I was wondering if I were to get a reprogrammed computer that It would take care of the shift points. I noticed this weekend on my first trip with the bonne that 2nd gear is limited to like 94 miles and 3rd is limited to 110 I figured these out by placing them into the selected gear. I found this rather annoying. Also, what is the top speed limit?

Top speed is 128 from the factory limiter for an SSEi. Give or take one or two.

INTENSE PCM'* if I recall, will change all those and hold the selected gear.

I'd hope so because it really sucks for racing if it'* running 2500 rpm @ 110

Manual 3rd gear is limited to 108. We remove this limit in our PCM

Huh? You run that low. I'm at 2500rpm at 92 ish.

Sorry I didn't know what the actual rpm was. I wasn't really watching the tach, I was watching the road...first time @ a high rate of speed in the bonne.

Keep it safe..enjoy it.

Personally I found my 97 to shift out of 3rd at 111mph according to my HUD and it feels good there...like you...I have not confirmed RPM'*.
