id say rockers and porting would be a good start.
maybe get a junkyard LIM and do some practicing on porting. thats what im doing this winter. there are quite a few threads that will help you on that.

Buying extra pieces are the best way to go, incase you botch it really bad, you can always fall back on the stock piece to allow the car to run. I bought a scanner from Series One performance once because there were none available to me in Canada, it was shipped to me promtly, but it looked like it was an old display model of sorts. There are other solutions for buying Series 1 parts, other members have bought tons from other places, just gotta search.

Where can I get the rockers from and what ratio should I go with?

ZZP has Yella Terra 1.8 rockers (I have a set on the green car with ported heads/LIM, etc).

INTENSE is also thinking about stocking other options. PM Rogue or revive his INTENSE/Rocker topic.

Moved to Performance since this is becoming performance oriented.

I messaged both the tech and drjay at s1p months ago and have yet to receive any reply. I even sent more e-mails questioning if they were ever going to reply to me. I wouldn't trust them at all.
