Thank for the compliment. Rather an odd project, but try and imagine driving a beemer/vette/etc and a "minivan" has just out-cornered you and pulled away...briefly. I use it to haul large model aircraft, skis, bikes, and at the track. A SC will make it a little quicker is all

Trust me when I state that no, the cam will not exit the block without a plasma cutter, unless I drop the clip.

It seems I'm on my own regarding a rocker configuration selection, I'lll report when everything is operational...

BTW, anyone with Series I lower manifolds (anyone - anywhere you know of, even your local wreckers) that you no longer need, please let me know. I would be grateful.

Not sure I understand; Yes the L27 is operational at present within the confines of the APV. The donor 93' SSEi sits next to it.

As to "how" I get 1.8'* to work, not sure what you mean (that pic of the rockers is from the manufacturer). What sort of pics please?

As you suggest, another gentleman indicated he was in the midst of installing an L67 (series II though) in a 95' or 96', actually the next generation of Pontiac Transport (the Lumina/Silhouette were dropped). Same idea, different engines and platforms (well sorta).

This might require a separate thread; I have been thinking about a switch/relay that would negate the boost solenoid and keep the bypass closed (by servo) for spirited driving, but be operational during normal(?) driving for better fuel economy. You would be able to switch while on the fly at any time...

Your close to my heart with the APV van. I have a Series 2 L67 and 4T65E-HD sitting at the shop wating for a swap into a '94 Trans Sport. I might have to get in touch with you dealing with suspension. I'm going more for the sleeper look then yours but that sounds kinda funny when your talking about a van.

Now on the rockers... Bigger is better! If you think their might be a chance that you are going to go to a cam down the road I'd go with the 1.7'* so it could still be possible to use them.
