here are the only differences between the 92 and the 93-95 series 1 valve train.
92 uses a rocker arm that has a friction trunion in the rocker arm and has a 3/8" bolt hole that retains the rockers and uses a steel guide plate under the rocker bolts to keep them inline.
93-95 uses a roller trunion in the rockers and is retained by a 5/16" bolt and to keep them inline, they have an alum. pedestal plate that the rockers sit in.
everything else are the same.
to convert the 93-95 rockers to a 92, you need to redrill the trunions to a 3/8" hole, the pedestal plates need to be redrilled to a 3/8" holes, and get 12 2"x3/8" grade 8 socket bolts.
took alot of thinking , but i have already test fit them to my heads. direct fit after redrilling

here are a few cam basics and how a cam can make more power in your car.
a motor is nothing more than an air pump. the more air that is can move through it, the more power you make.
lift is the distance the valve opens
duration is how long in degrees that the valve stays open.
the longer the duration, the longer the valve stays open, and the more air and fuel enters the cylinder on the intake and the more exhaust gets out. making more power.
think of it this way. take a water valve and open it the entire way and close it as fast as you can while the water runs into a bucket. then take the same valve and open it slowly and close it slowly while the water runs into a bucket. now see how much more water is in the bucket that you opened and closed slowly. the same principle aplies to the duration of your cam. this is just one way a cam makes you more power. also when you have a longer duration, it helps scavage the exhaust out of the cylinder also.
the camshaft is the brains on the mechanical side of the motor.

if anyone out there is interested in a custom cam, they have milder grinds as well. i just told them i wanted as much duration as i can get and stay arund .480" total lift. cost is the same . they also do a rockwell hardness test after each regrind too.

got my cam yesterday, looks great, here is the spec sheet on it. god i cant wait to get all these parts installed

this company does great work, this is the wildest cam for the lift i wanted. he does mae milder cams. just get a new core at napa and send it to them.
