Default Series 1 Help

I love the resources here for all the aftermarket performance parts, however, I'm having trouble finding information on a 180 thermostat for my series I 3800. The majority of aftermarket vendors seem to be focused on Series II & III 3800s. Are the series I & II stats interchangable? My SE is not Supercharged. Thanks.

Yes, they are interchangeable. Grab a 180 stat from intense-racing.com

Your local auto parts store should have one.

you think you've got it tough. i've got a van. even parts that fit don't say they fit.

i've got a 180 (stant) in my L27, picked it up at discount auto for like $10.

here'* another web site that will help you out a little when looking for S1 L27 parts

www.seriesoneperformance.com

hope that helps a little.

Seriesoneperformance.com is an unknown. He hasn't updated his website in FOREVER. He'* been poor on communication, and we don't even know if he'* still in business.

This isn't even mentioning the wrong parts he'* sold to members, including a Moderator of the Forum.

Wow this is all news to me. Who is having trouble getting ahold of me? The only email I got recently that I didn't answer within a day or so was from someone on the club asking a non-car related question so I put that further down on the list. I spend about an hour a day answering tech emails.

The only person in recent history that got the wrong part was someone who ordered the wrong part, of which he admitted. I'm still going to take it back and get a refund/exchange on it at no cost. Most places would charge a restocking fee for that.

Will, check your PM.

DrJay, your vendor status has already been revoked, so this is a non-issue. Read your PM. That'* from jr's3800 and I, with Jeff Keacher'* knowledge and support.

Further debate on the matter in this topic would not be a good idea. It took you five days to respond via email to a Staff Member regarding the status of your site, and there has been a history of unanswered or very late emails.

The issue is not open for discussion.

As I mentioned I put his further down on the answer list. The site runs mainly around the premise of tech advice, so that'* what I focus on. The tech emails are the only ones that get a delay, I can't think of any email asking about the status of an order or anything related that has had any kind of significant delay. If I'm wrong, this has never been brought up to me. I don't care about any change in vendor status on this board, I haven't been on here in a LONG time and it has had no impact at all. Again though, I don't run the site to sell parts. Hell I hardly sell any, it barely pays for itself. I keep it running because I have a LOAD of back-and-forth tech emails with people. As you can see I have minimal parts actually on the site and if someone asks about a part that'* not on the list 9 out of 10 times I'll just send them to the manufacturer directly. I just sent a guy over to a cylinder head rebuilder the other day instead of charging for it. With that in mind, my "vendor" status means little to nothing to me, for the most part I'm not a vendor....

My only concern is if someone feels they have somehow been wronged by me. So far you're the only person that has ever said anything derogatory.
