Has anyone swapped a series 1 engine out of the 90'* style Bonnevilles with a Series 2?

Yep. It'* pretty easy for a 94-95.

Search SPIRAL on this site. He'* no longer around but he swapped his S1 L67 for a S2.
I swapped a L36 into my originally S1 L67 equipped car.

What you need for a 94-95:
95 L36 engine wiring harness (modified slightly if for use with L67), passenger side engine mount, throttle cables, A/C+bracket+lines, and a custom eprom which is relatively inexpensive from Sinister Performance.

For a 92-93, you would need to modify/create the engine wiring harness and you run into different electronics issues with the crank sensor, EGR, etc.
