I have heard this a few times, and seen it in my car as well. It happens about 45mph But I don't recall anyone ever saying what it is.

From what I've noticed in my car, it seems to do it at some speeds and not others. Also seems to be where the trans wants to shift, but doesn't. When it happens to me I give it a little gas and it clears up.
