Default Rogue! Or those with DHP....

I'd like to be able to "manually" shift the car. Right now, you hold it in first gear and it shifts to second at like 4500 RPM. I'd like to be able to hold it in first all the way through redline, cause it'* kinda hard watching the scan guage at redline in second, going 100mph.... Can a guy get the PCM designed that way?

I have the intense standard pcm and I am able to shift manually. Well to a certain point, it still short shifts a bit in 1st...but nothing like the stock pcm. Also the intense standard pcm raises your shift points to almost 6 grand. That'* what i enjoyed the most, well and the changes to torque management. Basically I suggest the Intense PCM

Yeah, probably is.....but the nearest dyno is an hour and a half away, and its 75 bucks an hour.

SSEi-Ei-O- already got that, and a little more......

There are tables in the PCM for the speed that the PCM will shift into 2nd with the shifter in manual 1st. They can be editied to whatever you want so you can shift higher if you'd like. However, there really is no reason to. If your shift points are set properly in your PCM, you should never have to pull the shifter back. FWIW, I just set my 1-2 manaul 1st shift point to the same as my WOT performance shift shift point. That way it will shift at what it would in D anyways. Works well for me that way.

As far as i know you cannot hold 1st gear in our cars. It will ALWAYS shift into 2nd unlike 2nd and 3rd which you can bounce of the limiter if you want.

That'* right Shad.
I usually have to keep it in D so it shifts at 6000 rpm in both 1st and 2nd.....well about 5900 in 2nd and 6050 in 1st by the scan gauge.
It is quicker that way.
If I try to manually hold it in 2nd, it will bounce off the rev limiter at 6200 rpm before I can move the lever into 3rd.

Mine will hold 1st to almost 5500 rpm which is plenty.
Don't forget to disconnect the front wheel speed sensors.
