Default Rockers Rock

Today was the install of INTENSE 1.9 rockers, oil restricted pushrods, CompCams steel retainers, and LS6 springs. Only one bad thing happened during the entire install...I busted a spark plug!

I must have tightened it too much a few weeks back before Bfest and when I pulled on it get it off I had to use some manly muscles and *POP*. "Oh crap!" I said, thinking it was busted off and I would never get the electrod out. But it just cracked the upper white thingy (at a lose for terms). So I converted over from NGK TR6'* to Autolite 104'*. Thank you Todd for the gap information.

Once everything was back together I took her out and it chirped 2nd then climbed like nothing I've ever experienced before. The power never ends, it just keeps going and going and going...

I gave the gas a slam at about 25mph and the rpms were up to 6k in no time!

I love it, I got high end and low end power now. I'll get Autotapped again and see if I can run a 3.3 pulley with 104 octane for the track, but in the meantime I'm going to enjoy this.

Todd what does the PCM have to learn from the rockers anyway? The increase in airflow? Strange because when we Autotapped she was expecting rockers already.

Anyway, I'm heading up the track tomarrow...but I'll be hungover I know it (kinda tipsy right now). 13'* for sure Jim and I had a local GTP buddy help me.

Oh and macho_mike, just check out intence-racing.com if your curious on prices.

The care will learn the proper air fuel mix as well as how much timing to advance based on your lowering KR with adding the rockers. It adapts other ways as well just as it leanrs the higher octane fuel you put in.
