They reccommend O/R rods with their Gen3'*. The price is really what turns me away from them. I know they are a very good product.

But also, I've never heard anything bad about the I-Win'*. They could be taken well over 6K if they needed to. Hell, dbtk2'* dad has the I-Win'* (ZZP) rockers in a 12 second GP.

But youre right Jason, I say I'm gonna stay at 6K, but for how long?

I think Todd can do 0-60 in one gear.... IMO these cars don't need more low end grunt, spinning tires thru 1st gear isn't hard for an L67. AFAIK reglular pushrods are just fine with those Gen III'*. But if you're already in there....

I think those words cost me the most money when it comes to my car.

I would definately go with the I-win'*. The Intense rockers are nice rockers, but IMO the extra couple hp you might gain from the reduced friction and saved weight isn't worth the extra cash, that money can be spent for a lot more power in other places. My dad, according to an autotap log I have, forgot to shift the car out of 2nd gear at the track (he usually puts it in D and lets it shift itself at 6200, but he forgot to on this run after his burnout), and he wound it up to a little over 6500 before realizing what he'd done. (his limiter is 6600) He has 85lb springs, modified retainers, ZZP 1.9 rockers (the same as the I-win), and OR pushrods. It has always never had a problem reving to 6200. We have the same rockers in the SSEi and have for ~65k miles now and we've never had a problem. With otherwise completely stock valvetrain, it shifts at 5950 and its never gotten valve float or anything.

The fastest stock cam GTP runs ZZP (I-win) rockers, so its not like you can't make power out of them.

Now that I've re-read it, I got a kick out of it as well. Oh well, I've seen a lot worse on these forums...
