i think you guys are missing the fact that he doesnt mention putting on performance mufflers. i got the impression that he was just converting to an SLE/SSEi exhaust with a rersonator delete....

everyones comments appear to be geared towards their experience with aftermarket exhaust systems

PLEASE correct me if im wrong

You added one? 94 was the first year they came from the factory with them.

I actually just go mine removed and it didn't make that much difference.......very little......although I do agree w/the others when they say it can get kinda annoying inside but I just crank my stereo and it'* all good!! As for performance.......not really!

The exhaust sound on an L67 is quite different. Even the L27 and L36 respond differently to component changes as far as sound is concerned.

Removing the resonator will not gain performance. Notice that the Bullet is ADDING a resonator.

HE IS KEEPING THE STOCK MUFFLERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ALL THE OTHER CARS IN QUESTION HERE HAVE AFTERMARKET MUFFLERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand that. I'm curious about WHY he'd want to remove the resonator in the first place. I was stating that comparisons can't be made in sound quality to a supercharged model.

Oh well i did not add one, hmm maybe i don't have one, maybe thats why it sounds like i dont have one...haha, since i have abviously forgotten what a res looks like...refresh my memory, is it the oval which i thought was the cat con, and the oval cylnder... or haha, i guess the res is the one that is like long cyl right? hah, i guess i dont have one...no wonder my car is so damned loud...

There is no restriction in the stock resonator. It'* a straight shot.
