Just enough to overlap your TB fully (an inch or so) plus allow for a gap between the TB and pipe (to allow for flexing....another inch) and maybe a 1 or 2 inch overlap on the pipe. Check with BonneMeMn. He'* got that ricepipe setup.

My reducer goes all the way to the ridge on the outside of the TB, and to nearly the bend of the pipe. Anything from 3-4" will be fine, 5" if you can trim it if needed.

Each situation is different, based on where you need your pipe to go. Slightly angled would be perfect, since the bend is exactly like the ADTR, and some have needed more of a bend on that.

i think I'll go with a 5" coupler and trim it as I go. I have the pipe in my trunk, the filter will be here tomorrow, and I'll get the coupler from Menards or somewhere. Any suggestions as to what type of coupler I should get? I probably wont go with silicone, I am trying to keep the price down on this. Its already gonna cost like $100 with the pipe, filter and oil.

I trimmed the silicone reducer from ADTR by inserting a scrap piece of PVC into it to hold it'* shape, then used a band saw to cut the coupler and pvc scrap at the same time. If you trace the line carefully, you can do it with heavy scissors or a razor blade.

what kind of angle did you cut yours at? I think I might just use wireties to move the PCM and make everything simpler.
