They work in conjunction with a cam to produce greater lift and duration. Or by themselves. They're more expensive than a cam, but easier to install.

You should also seriously consider updating the valve bodies in your 92 trans. They're seriously out of date and have gone through several revisions.

Your stock trans will NOT last long above 250 horsepower. Trust me Read my signature very carefully.

The 94/5 TB'* were larger as well. More potential there.

I believe you can get the roller rockers for 92 heads.

Also, when I said 60 hp, I meant with all the rest of the stuff you mentioned, not just the newer SC with larger TB.

Not necessarily. What you need is greater efficiency in the blower, and that'* what the differences is between 93/94. The TB itself isn't that much larger. If you simply port your stock 92 TB (Ilike I did my 93) and run the 94 or 95 rotors, you may get away without using an AFC controller, which is a HUGE advantage. Less expense, and one less thing to break. Besides, you need to do a full rebuild on your SC with what you have planned, anyway.

Or, you get the 94 and port the TB for the largest opening you can get, but you would definatly need the AFC if you did that. I use one, and save for the times it mysteriously loses its setting, like once every 6 months or so, it works like a charm. I just remember where I had it set. Would I be happier if I could run without it? Yes.

My theory on the TB porting is you'd need the AFC anyway, but I have not tested that.

Testing coming, and he'* got head and cam work to keep him busy until I prove the theory right or wrong.

nearly al performance cars have larger aftermarket TB'* and they do create power. There'* a reason GP guys get ported, or LS1/Northstar TB'*.

The thunderbird guy was amazed at how small the 93 TB is.

Thunderbirds don't run the M62. And you can only flow so much there anyway. I gauantee my ported 93TB will flow as well or better than a 94/95. I've compared them side by side.

But porting a 94/5 will give you even more

Also on the AFC note, ZZP is working on an auto AFC, you hook it up to your 02 and it automatically adjusts your MAF output based on your air/fuel ratio, and puts it right where you want it.

EDIT: Thunderchicken guys do have blowers on some cars, and a throttle body is a throttle body no matter what i hooks up to.

3 Q'*:

- What are the actual dims of a '94 - '95 TB (blade, inlet, outlet)? Also any other differences?
- Dims of the inlet of a '94 -'95 SC?
- Other then the coating, are the '94 - '95 SC rotors different then '92 - '93?
