Default Rear o2 Emulator... good idea or no?

Hey guys... Converter is breaking up on the GP... I know since its still a SeriesII 3.8 the exhaust is similar and was wondering if any of you have used the o2 Emulator Thingy from 3800 performance. We don't have emissions laws in OK and I don't have the $$$ to drive to get it tuned and its still stock so i don't want to tune for the rear o2 delete. Does the lil gadget work or would it be a waste of money? I just hate the CEL being on, but want to get rid of the cat.

I know there'* aftermarkets out there that can replace it but id rather just remove and put straight down pipe in its place since I don't have to worry about emissions

PS... I don't have or know anyone with tuning software so I cant just remove the codes myself

To my knowledge it works. Most places don't even sell them anymore.

Havent seen many probs with em on the GP forum but not many people have used em, most just got a tune to get rid of the codes

thanks Dan ... shame your like a 1000miles away id just have you tune it

Pick up a spare or have me pick up a spare. Then it'* a matter of tossing the file you need on it and pulling the codes you want gone.
