What a nice/clean/professional looking install! Great work. I've been thinking about adding some sort of Maytag Ram Air setup to my vehicle as well and noted what you aid about benefiting N/A engines more than */C'*. Care to elaborate or speculate?

N/A will benefit more because it uses the natural tendency of the pistons to pull air in. However pulling from the cylinder head all the way to your filter isn't the most efficient. An */C is the 'middle man' and it'* compressing air. If you give a "ram effect" to your N/A you'll have some positive pressure relative to the ambient air, you'll have more pressure and the engine will have more air available to pull, and it will be refreshed with new air quicker.

No ram air there, huh? It also impaled a wasp all over the SC cover. Figure that velocity out. There was some engineering involved in this one, Russ. It wouldn't have gone on the car if I didn't KNOW it would work.

Russ, your BS call on Bills mods is totally baseless. For one, we have been present and included throughout the duration of this project. I highly doubt Bill would think of this, design it, build it, test it, and post results IF it was to result in negative efforts.

It looks great and seems to work just as well.
I'd still be tempted to insulate that intake pipe and air box but then it might lose some of your aesthetic apeal.
It should be most noticeable as soon as the warmer weather arrives.
